Communication skills for the technical professional

The era in which we could limit ourselves to "I know the craft, I am good with numbers and systems", and "If I articulate my sentences, that's all I need" are behind us. Increasingly the leaders of today realise that the direct relationships with the clients, team members, project leaders, key users etc.... play a crucial role in the smooth development of a technical project.

Training method

Lots of exercising and role play. Bring your own situations! The experiences gained during the exercises are discussed against the background of principles of communication in the more theoretical part. The slides are for inspiration, the syllabus offers a solid basis of principles of communication as well as easy to use scripts for different situations of communication, and do's and don'ts.
